Veronica Weinheimer becomes the Panhandle Division Director

Toastmasters started a new year on July 1, 2021. Veronica Weinheimer stepped into the District leadership role as the Panhandle Division Directorw. She is a young enterpreneur, wife to a rancher and also a mother to a cute daughter! She also serves as the President to Amarillo Toastmasters Club.

Shaka Spagnoletti is the fearless leader of Area 31. Even though she is not a resident of the Panhandle Division, she graciously accepted the leadership position.

Cheryl Gentry is an inspiring leader serving Area 32.

Amarillo Toastmasters Club speech contest

One of the oldest clubs in Texas, conducted International Speech Contest on March 2 on zoom. Victor Salomon won the first place with his speech titled "The Truth about Motivation". Emanuel Salazar won the second place with a speech titled "Living Life to its Fullest". Rodrigo Chavez was a close contender of the title with his speech "How I Overcame my Fear of Public Speaking". Victor and EManuel will represent the club at the Area 32 Speech contest on March 20 on zoom. Congratulations, Victor and Emanuel! The club also held Evaluation Speech Contest. Larry Boyer, DTM, presented the target speech "It's about Time". Emanuel Salazar won the first place in Evaluation Contest and Rodrigo Chavez won the second place. Both will represent the club at the Area 32 contest on March 20 on zoom. Congratulations, Emanuel and Rodrigo! South Division Director Grecia Mejias and Past District 23 Director, Natalie Waters were present to support the contests as the judge and the timer.
